| VAT | Standard rate: 14% in 2026; 13% from 1 January 2027. |

Verified on 16.09.2026 against the Tax Code of Tajikistan. Legal basis: Articles 183, 332 and 397. Applicability depends on business activity, tax residence, income type and tax regime. Special rates and exemptions require a separate assessment.
Corporate income tax: Article 183(4), read with Article 397(13). VAT: Article 264(1)(1), read with Article 397(4). Personal income tax: Article 183(1). Social tax: Article 332(1)–(2).
We assess income, transactions, employee status and the conditions of each regime. Eligibility for the simplified regime is reviewed against Articles 374–380 of the Tax Code. Reduced VAT rates, exemptions, excise and taxes linked to assets or particular activities require a separate assessment. Company size or an industry label alone does not establish the tax treatment.

From 1 January 2026, the rate is 18% under the general regime. The legal basis is Article 397(13). Eligibility for a special regime or exemption depends on the company’s circumstances.
Eligibility, excluded activities and the transition procedure must be checked first. A published rate does not by itself establish eligibility. We need information about the company’s activities and income to assess the options. See Articles 374–380.
No. The 12% rate applies to a tax resident’s main employment income; other situations are governed by different rules. Tax residence, the source of income and its type must be established before calculating payroll. See Article 183.
No. An incentive requires a specific legal basis and compliance with its conditions. For example, Article 396 concerns qualifying innovation and technology activities in a government-established technology park. Under Article 397(8), Chapter 56 applies until 31 December 2026; check subsequent legislation for later periods. An industry label or a new registration alone does not establish an exemption.
